João Paulo Krajewski

João Paulo is a Brazilian biologist, with a PhD degree in Ecology. He is an experienced cameraman, with works as DOP and camera operator for blue chip films produced by the BBC (The Americas, The Green Planet, Dogs in the Wild, Primates, Earth’s Great Rivers etc), Humble Bee Films (Life in Colour with David Attenborough, Secret World of Sounds etc), Plimsoll (Animal), Silverback Films (Parenthood), among others. João is a GSS operator, rope expert (IRATA) and dive master, with more than 4,000 dives.

João has also produced and presented the series Florestas Animais, exhibited by Animal Planet and Discovery in Latin America. Further, he produced the series Vida no Azul, and Histórias Animais, both currently at Animal Planet and by Discovery+ in Latin America.

During his career, João has traveled to more than 60 countries. He is an Amazon expert, having leaded more than 40 filming expeditions to this forest in locations in Brazil, Ecuador, and Peru. He has also filmed in other Brazilian ecosystems, such as the Pantanal, Caatinga, Atlantic Rainforest, Cerrado, the coast and oceanic islands.
